If you want to increase the chances of identifying pre diabetes and avoiding type 2 diabetes, refer to this list of symptoms:

  • Fatigue: If the body is not effectively metabolizing glucose (fuel for energy) you will feel tired more frequently.
  • Frequent Infections: Another symptom of pre diabetes is your immune system can be overworked, which makes it difficult for your body to fight off infections and heal itself.
  • Increased Hunger: Biological impulses related to hunger are triggered when muscles and organs are deprived of energy.
  • Blurry Vision: As the effects of type 2 diabetes cause fluid to be pulled into the bloodstream your vision can become blurry and you may have difficulty focusing your eyes.
